WHO WE ARE
Jody has been organizing and designing spaces since she was a girl. She loved organizing her mother's jewelry, household drawers, and school classrooms. Jody attended North Central College in Naperville and began working in organization management for a financial planning firm but later left the work force to raise her two children, Addy and Brian. Jody has returned to her love of interior design and organization and enjoys working with her clients to create a space that they love.

A friend told me about Jody and Blue Indigo Designs. I had never used a designer before and it felt like a luxury, but I needed help. Five years ago, we had cherry wood bookshelves made and installed in our library because my husband loves reading, loves history, and has many books. I had big plans for the room which I never had the time or vision to put together. Aside from the shelves, the room had been a mess with old and big furniture and had become our "junk room".
Jody came over and really listened to what we wanted and let us be part of the process of choosing furniture, etc. One of the things that makes Blue Indigo Designs unique is that Jody picks furniture, rugs, drapery, accent pieces, art, etc. that is not overly expensive. She is conscious of budget and knows where to go both online and in person to find quality products at an affordable price.
We love what Jody did with our library. The room is functional, comfortable, and elegant. It is beyond what we were hoping for. She created a gallery wall around pictures from a trip we took and chose other photos for our bookshelves which personalized the room. My husband and I love the room and we have already spent many evenings reading in the room and our teenage son has even read in the room. I give my highest '5 star' recommendations to Jody and Blue Indigo Designs.
